Nanotechnology is the Buzzword of today, it has applications in virtually each and every domain, like medicine, pharma, electronics, mechanical, automobiles, textiles, paint, energy, aeronautics, space, biotech,etc. There are endless applications, which means opportunities in a varied and large number of fields. In a nutshell people having knowledge of Nanotechnology will have edge over those who do not have any idea of it.
The Nano Science & Technology Consortium is running the Nanotechnology Sensitization Program. It's a six month certification program. For joining the program, you just need to send the application form along with the requisite fee to us which you can download for free from our website http://www.nstc.in/
Its a distance participation program and there are no classes in it, the students are provided the study material by post, therefore they are not required to come to Noida. They can study from the comforts of their home. NSTC provides them internet based support during the duration of the course. There are no exams in this program but the students are given a mid-term assignment and a final assignment. The mid-term assignment is optional as such it is not mandatory to submit it but the final assignment is mandatory and only after the submission of it with us we provide the certificate to the participants.

You can download the application form for free from the above mentioned link. Also, the syllabus of the program is available on the above page. The course fee is Rs.5000 and the applications for the same will be received till 30th April, 2008.
We are presently accepting applications for the Nano Sensitization Program under the Scholarship scheme (50% discount on program fee).
